Work in Carlow usually means farmhouses and rendered two-storey homes around the Barrow valley, with 1970s bungalows on the approaches to the town. The condition that shapes the job locally is sheltered by the Blackstairs, so frames age slowly and quietly rather than failing in a single gale, which is why slow, sheltered weathering means faults sit unnoticed for years, so a survey usually finds more than the homeowner expected.
Ring them yourself. Ask for a measured survey before any price, get the quote in writing, and confirm who makes good the plaster inside and the render outside once the old frames come out.
