Work in Cork usually means post-war suburban semis and 1970s estates around the city, with Victorian terraces and bay windows closer in and farmhouses through West Cork. The condition that shapes the job locally is high rainfall and long damp spells rather than extreme wind, so rot and mould at reveals are the recurring problem, which is why the county spans city bay windows and exposed West Cork farmhouses, and they are genuinely different jobs.
