Windows Direct is based in Kilkenny and works across Kilkenny city, Callan, Thomastown, Castlecomer and Graiguenamanagh. The SEAI register also lists 16 other counties in their service area, so it is worth asking how far they travel for a job your size.

Most of the housing here is limestone period townhouses with sash windows, plus farmhouses and bungalows through the county. The local condition that shapes the job is moderate inland weather, with the real constraint being conservation rather than climate, which is why protected structures and the city conservation area rule out standard uPVC on many streets.

Use the enquiry form on this page and it goes straight to them, or ring them on 087 903 6425. Ask for a measured survey before any price, get the quote in writing, and confirm who makes good the plaster inside and the render outside once the old frames come out.

Ask for a measured survey before any price, and get the quote in writing afterwards. Confirm three things in particular: whether removing and disposing of the old frames is included, who makes good the plaster inside and the render outside, and what the lead time is. Made to measure frames run six to twelve weeks, so the survey date is not the start date.

Kilkenny city is in Kilkenny, where Windows Direct is registered, so yes. They work across Kilkenny city, Callan, Thomastown and out to Graiguenamanagh. Whether they will travel to a specific townland is worth asking directly, particularly for a smaller job.

No Google rating is showing for Windows Direct at the moment. That can mean nobody has left one, or that fewer than three people have, because we hold a rating back below that rather than presenting one review as a score. It says nothing about the quality of their work. Ask them for two addresses locally where they have done the same job, and go and look at them.
